Jim Maloway
Experienced and ready to fight for what's
important in Elmwood-Transcona
- Jim Maloway has been
representing people in the Elmwood part
of Elmwood-Transcona since 1986 as a part
of Howard Pawley and then Gary Doer’s
Manitoba team.
- Jim has been a small
business owner since 1978. He lead the
development of Manitoba's Bill 31 (Electronic
Commerce), the most comprehensive legislation
of its kind in Canada.
- As vice-chair of Manitoba's
Public Accounts Committee He worked tirelessly
to adopt the best ideas from other jurisdictions
to make government more efficient and
reduce costs.
- Jim is fighting locally
to stop the closure of the Disraeli Bridge,
and will fight Federally for infrastructure
dollars.
- Jim continues the legacy
of Bill Blaikie in fighting to ensure
that jobs remain in our community, and
that our Health Care system is defended,
and that the Conservatives are held accountable.
